Our brand was first conceived as a movement that would de-weaponise the term LEFTY, and rebrand it into a moniker. Our target? Give people with strong ethics and morals a space to embrace making a positive impact. We soon came to understand that the best way to achieve this goal would be through education, evidence, and by leading by example.

LEFTY TEXTILES was born
Created as a clothing company that would prove that a socialist business structure was not only completely viable, but profitable, ethical, and good for everyone. We collaborate with artists to create clothing that we help sell through this website. Our collaborators receive a percentage of profits for every garment sold that they contributed to. The better the garment sells, the more we are all remunerated (not just the people at the top).

Our company structure means that everyone involved receives remuneration that is directly relative to their efforts and contribution.

Our company owners have a capped salary that is reviewed every 24 months, which allows more of the company profits to be shared amongst the contributors and collaborators, whilst still leaving enough left over to donate to worthy, like-minded causes.

Leading from the front

In order to prove that LEFTY Textiles is operated ethically and morally, and that a socialist structure is more ethical and sustainable, our books are available for everyone to see.

They’re published right here on this website, every quarter.

We hold ourselves accountable, but we also provide all the facts and figures to allow our collaborators, contributors, customers, and the general public to hold us accountable.

Who are these LEFTYS?
01
There’s plenty of mistruth and obfuscation perpetrated around what it means to be a LEFTY.
02
In our opinion, being a LEFTY revolves around compassion, empathy and inclusion.
03
We want to create a world that is fair, that adds value to other people’s lives and that offers more equal opportunities to all.
04
If these values align with yours, you might just be a LEFTY too.
